OUR HISTORY

In 1946, a well-known engineer and Villanova professor named Thomas McCormick laid the groundwork for what would become present-day McCormick Taylor.

 

Joined by Paul Taylor in the 1950s, the two completed numerous high-profile structural engineering projects, and their partnership set the tradition of excellence we still uphold today.

    Dilworth Plaza Renovation, 15th Street and Concourse, Philadelphia, PA

    P. John Taylor assumes the role of President

    The Environmental Services group is established in PA

    Longtime employee and newly minted President Tom Caramanico purchases the firm and expands geographically

    The Traffic group is established and marks the beginning of an emerging engineering and planning service for the firm

    The Blue Route, I-476, in Delaware County, PA opens to traffic

    Celebrated 50 years in business with five office locations and a new Water Resources group

    Exton office is opened to meet the needs of municipal clients

    Name changed to McCormick Taylor, Inc., resulting in a new logo

    The Energy Services group is established

    Pat Guise and Jim Wiggans become co-owners of the company and modernize the firm’s practices with an emphasis on relationships
